
Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Shaikh Mohammad Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah stopped Friday a driver who was violating traffic by driving in the opposite direction on the coastal road.
In a statement carried by the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) , the media department at the Interior Ministry said that Shaikh Mohammad Al-Khaled had spotted the violation while heading to attend Friday prayer.
The minister ordered the driver be deported immediately for the immediate deportation of the driver, who is an Asian national, for his act which posed a threat to road users, said the statement.
The violator was apprehended and the legal procedures against him are being taken for his deportation, said the department.
