Kuwaiti minister: Rewards to security officers normal practice

The Ministry of Interior affirmed on Wednesday that the distribution of periodic financial rewards for some sectors in the ministry is a standard procedure and a normal practice in recognition to efforts of security men.
The Ministry's Media Security Department made the statement in response to reports in some social networking sites regarding bonuses to security personal.
The ministry confirmed that such procedure was a normal practice within the ministry's procedures of punishment or rewards to all security officers.
