
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled Al-Sabah on Thursday paid an inspection visit to the General Operations Department to make sure of the proper coordination among the security services.
He first visited the emergency hotline 112 center where he was briefed by Director of the Dept. Brig. Khaled Ahmad Salamah on the operating system and ways of handing an emergency call.
Sheikh Mohammad, also acting Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, commended the timely response of the center and the concerned departments as well as the effective information sharing among the security services, according to a statement by the Ministry of Interior.
He reminded the staffers of the center of the crucial importance of their mission and asked them to continue offering the best possible service to citizens and and residents in Kuwait.
The minister also reviewed the plans for ensuring security during the upcoming complementary parliamentary elections and the summer holidays.
He highlighted the significance of the protective security as a vital component of the comprehensive security system, the statement added
