
The Lebanese Supreme Defence Council met her today under the chairmanship of President Michel Suleiman with Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati and ministers of foreign affairs, interior, municipalities, finance, economy and trade and justice taking part. Army Commander Gen. Jean Qahwaji, Public Security Director General Major General Abbas Ibrahim, National Security Director General Major General George Qaraa, International Security Deputy Director General Major General Ibrahim Basbous, Army Intelligence Commander Brigadier Edmon Fadhil and Information Section Chief Colonel Imad Osman in addition to the Cassation Prosecutor General Samir Hamoud, Secretary General of the Supreme Defence Council Major General Mohamed Khair, Presidency Director General Dr. Antoine Shukair and advisor to the president Abdul Muttalab Al Hinnawi. The Lebanese National News Agency (INA) said the Council will discuss the terrorist explosion in which former minister Mohamed Shatah and a number or citizens were killed in addition to other security developments. Before the meeting President Suleiman met with the Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikarti.
