
The Lebanese security forces detained a wanted Lebanese terrorist at Rafic Hariri international airport over charges of belonging to Fatah El-Islam terrorist organization, the National News Agency reported.
Giving only the initials of his name as (A.M.H), the Lebanese general security directorate said he was arrested during his attempt to leave the country to Venezuela via Turkey using a forged passport using the name of his brother.
The statement said that many warrants have been issued against the detained terrorist, who was a fugitive since 2001 and wanted over many crimes such as belonging to Fatah El-Islam terrorist organization, forming a terrorist network which aimed at carrying out terrorist acts against the Italian and Ukrainian embassies as well as interior security forces.
