
Lebanese Prime Minister Tammam Salam discussed on Tuesday with Egyptian Ambassador in Beirut Mohamed Badr el Din the recent developments in Lebanon and the regional situation.
This came during a meeting held here between Salam and Badr el Din.
Speaking to MENA, Badr el Din said the two countries should boost coordination in the field of combating extremism and terrorism as they enjoy privileged strategic positions.
Egypt is pleased to see a breakthrough in the garbage problem that affected the political life in Lebanon, hoping the completion of steps that will help improve the political atmosphere and bring about stability, the Egyptian diplomat asserted.
