The Libyan Foreign Ministry has strongly condemned the terrorist attack which targeted worshipers in a mosque in the Saudi eastern governorate of al Qatif.
The ministry, meanwhile, said that the attack aims to ignite discord between the people of one religion.
In a statement on Saturday, the ministry affirmed its support for Saudi Arabia and said that it is sure that the kingdom will overcome terrorism thanks to the wise leadership of the Saudi king.
The ministry also extended deepest condolences to Saudi Arabia over the attack and wished speedy recovery for the injured.
At least 21 people lost their lives and 97 others sustained injuries on Friday, when an explosion ripped through Imam Ali Mosque in the village of al Qadeeh, located in Saudi Arabia’s Qatif district.
