
The Libyan delegates' visit to Egypt is a chance to show our support for legitimacy in Libya, Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry said on Tuesday.
During a press conference with Libyan parliament speaker Aguila Saleh, newly-appointed Chief of Staff Abdel Razek Natowri and Foreign Minister Mohamed Abdel Aziz, Shoukey noted that the visit comes as part of continued talks between Egypt and Libya to support the Libyan people.
Shoukry stressed Egypt's support for the Libyan parliament, which was elected in a transparent way.
Saleh, meanwhile, thanked the Egyptian people and President Abdel Fattah El Sisi for their support for his country during this critical stage.
He hailed also efforts exerted by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry to support Libya at the regional and international levels.
