A third oil reservoir caught fire on Friday at the Libyan port of Sidra, spokesman for the oil facilities guards in the North African country Ali al-Hassi said.
"The first and second reservoirs caught fire on Thursday due to the ongoing clashes and the third one at Sidra port was set ablaze today" the spokesman said.
The Sidra reservoir produces 22,500 barrels per day, he pointed out.
"We failed to control the fires due to clashes between the oil facilities' guards and Fajr Libya fighters, who are incited by the outgoing General National Congress," he added.
