
Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab discussed on Monday with Giza Governor Khaled Zakaria the establishment of development projects in the governorate.
Agriculture Minister Salah Hilal attended the talks.
The governor proposed developing the Orman Botanical Garden and the surrounding area.
The premier phoned Planning Minister Ashraf el Arabi to brief him on the proposal and ask him to cooperate with the governorate by providing necessary financial resources for the project.
For his part, the agriculture minister asserted the importance of developing the garden as it is considered one of the most famous Botanical gardens in the world.
Also, Zakaria submitted a proposal to organize a conference on available investments opportunities in the governorate.
Furthermore, the governor made a proposal to develop some neighborhoods in the governorate, including Al Warraq and Al Ahram Plateau.
These development projects would contribute to securing more job openings for young men in the governorate, Zakaria added.
