
Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab on Tuesday laid the foundation stone of a new building of the Court of Cassation in the 6th of October City.
Mahlab was accompanied by Justice Minister Saber Mahfouz, Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghafar and Awqaf Minister Mokhtar Gomaa.
Mahlab was briefed on the details of the project that will be set up on 8,000 square meters and its total cost.
The current Court of Cassation is working on cases of 26 directorates through two chambers only.
Meanwhile, Head of the Court of Cassation Councilor Hossam Abdel Rehim said the new building is a good step on the way of the structural organization of the judiciary premises in a way that could help resolve citizens' problems.
