
Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab on Tuesday received a report on support and compensation measures provided for families of Warraq boat crash victims.
The report, provided by Social Solidarity Minister Ghada Wali, briefed Mahlab on measures adopted to distribute EGP 60,000 urgent financial aid for every family of the deceased, and EGP 10,000 for each injured.
The Social Solidarity Directorate in Giza will distribute aid as of Sunday after necessary paperwork is completed.
A social solidarity committee was formed, under the minister, to receive families of the deceased and the injured to provide necessary support for them, the report said.
