Man arrested at Cairo airport over fund smuggling attempt

Security authorities at Cairo International Airport have arrested a passenger while trying to smuggle EGP 46,000 to Saudi Arabia, a security source said on Thursday.
The man, an Egyptian national who is working as a representative of an enterprise, hid the money in a bag.
He has been referred to the prosecution under a law on funds allowed to be carried by coming or leaving passengers.
