Man killed in road accident N Beirut

A 27-year-old man was killed in a road accident while trying to cross the highway in Jal al-Dib, north of Beirut, security sources said Wednesday. Nabil Shukrallah was killed instantly when a vehicle slammed into him as he attempted to the cross the freeway at around 4 a.m. The driver of the vehicle, Daniel Yammine, was also injured, as Shukrallah landed on the car’s front windshield due to the impact of the accident. Yammine suffered cuts to his face, hands and legs as a result of the shattered glass and was transported to an intensive care unit at a local hospital.
