
Manpower Minister Gamal Sorour said Sharm ElSheikh has developed and became more attractive.
He lashed out at "the hands of treachery and terrorism which thought they can ruin Egypt."
Addressing a conference on the role of workers in combating terror, Sorour lauded achievements on the national action process.
"These achievements caused serious concern for those who want to destroy Egypt," he said.
As many as 400 Egyptian unionists and 40 representatives of Arab, African, European and Asian trade unions were present.
They represented 300 million workers around the world.
The Egyptian minister warned that extremism is a gross challenge facing all world countries.
He called for international collaboration to bring terrorism, which knows no religion or boundary, to an end.
The minister urged the conferees to find out swift measures to fight terror.
