
On the Palestinian cause, Mansour said Egypt backed the Palestinian Authority under President Mahmoud Abbas in its stances that speak of the Palestinian interest. He said: "We look for the outcome of the current summit to show support for the Palestinians to end the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories which has smeared humanity for decades now." Mansour also called on the international community to put an end to the sinister Israeli schemes against the holy al-Aqsa Mosque. He said:"This is a red line if trespassed no body could foresee its catastrophic repercussions on us all." "Israel is the occupation force and is in charge of the protection of the Islamic site against the extremist Jewish groups," Mansour said. He also condemned Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip
