
Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz' discussed here Monday with Arab League (AL) Secretary General Nabil el Araby preparations for holding the Arab summit, slated for July 25-26 in Nouakchott.
Describing the meeting as being of special importance, Araby said that it focused on logistic and technical preparations for holding the 27th Arab Summit as well as its agenda.
In statements, Araby said that holding the summit comes at a time of turmoil that engulfed the region.
He, meanwhile, thanked Mauritania for hosting the summit.
