Mecca emir partakes in washing Holy Ka'ba

On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud, the Amir of Holy Mecca HRH Prince Khalid Al-Faisal participated today in washing the inside walls of the Holy Ka'ba using linen wetted with Zamzam's water blended with rosewater and performed the "Tawaf" around the Holy Ka'ba followed by two rak'as. The General President of the Holy-Mosque-and-the-Prophet's-Mosque Affairs, Sheikh Dr. Abdurrahman Al-Soudais, a number of government ministers, members of the Islamic diplomatic corps accredited in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, guardians of the Holy Mosque, heads of governmental directorates and a number of Saudi citizens also participated in the ceremonial washing of the Holy Ka'ba.
