The Embassy of State of Palestine in Algiers organized Monday a meeting of solidarity with the Palestinian people, victim of a genocide perpetrated by the Israeli occupying forces.
The meeting was attended by members of the Palestinian community and representatives of political parties, organizations and the civil society, like the Algerian Muslim Scouts (SMA) and the National Union of the Algerian Women (UNFA).
The speakers during this meeting, like Sadek Bouguettaya, member of the Political Bureau of the FLN, Nouria Hafsi, general secretary of the UNFA and Noureddine Benbrahem, general secretary of SMA, strongly denounced the Israeli occupation and condemned the Israeli aggression against the population of Gaza, which killed more than 170 persons.
Palestinian ambassador to Algiers Louai Aissa hailed the resistance of the Palestinian people and underlined the importance of its unity and heroism for one century, facing the barbarity of the Israeli occupation and its arbitrary policy.
He has also praised Algeria’s steadfast position regarding the Palestinian just cause.
