Meetings of Arab Telecommunications ministers kick off in Cairo

The 39th ordinary session of the executive office of Arab Telecommunications and Information Technology ministers kicked off here Tuesday at the Arab League general secretariat, under the chairmanship of Saudi Arabia.

The meeting discussed a number of items with regard to the outcome of the 30th meeting of the Permanent Arab Committee on Post; including results of its team meetings, annual Arab postage stamps expo and the unified Arab postage stamp for 2016.

An item about the outcome of the 38th meeting of the permanent Arab committee on telecommunications and information technology was also discussed during the ordinary session.

Today's session will also set the date and place of holding the 20th session of Arab Telecommunications and Information Technology ministers council.
