MP Amin Massoud urged Prime Minister Sherif Ismail to swiftly end the crisis of Egyptian students detained in Sudan over charges of collective cheating in the secondary stage exams.
In a statement presented to Parliament Speaker Ali Abdel Aal on Thursday, Massoud called on Ismail to intervene as Immigration Minister Nabila Makram had asked the Sudanese foreign minister to release the students but he did not take any action.
Makram was on a visit to Sudan and met with detained students and discussed with the top Sudanese diplomat means of setting them free. (MENA)
