Outgoing Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, pursued Friday the abduction case of two Turkish pilots with outgoing Minister of Interior and Municipalities Marwan Charbel, Acting Attorney General, Judge Samir Hammoud and Turkish ambassador to Lebanon Inan Ozyildiz. Mikati received a phone call from Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu. "All Lebanese security agencies are on full alert and searching for the kidnapped," said Mikati. "Abductions are categorically rejected regardless of any justifications, and dealing with a righteous humanitarian cause cannot be done at the expense of the authority of state and law or human dignity." The Prime Minister finally stressed the need to multiply efforts to resolve this matter.
