Militants arrested in Alexandria, Menufiya

Alexandria police have arrested a terrorist cell grouping 10 elements of the Muslim Brotherhood.
The cell, self-styled "Death Cell", has been plotting to attack security troops, said Interior Ministry spokesman Hani Abdel Latif Tuesday.
They had three machine guns, nine rifles and a huge amount of ammunition and explosives on them, Abdel Latif said.
They admitted they belong to the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood group and that they intended to attack security troops, the spokesman added.
In the Delta city of Menufiya, police have arrested three MB elements who formed a terrorist cell.
They had a bomb that they intended to detonate at Quwessina Railway Station.
All three admitted to having committed a number of terrorist attacks and told prosecutors about a laboratory they used to manufacture bombs.
