Houthi and Saleh militias in Yemen's Ta'iz cordoned off the city following the end of a visit by a UN delegation, according to humanitarian relief sources.
In statements, carried by Yemeni government news agency, the delegation under the UN representative in Yemen arrived in Ta'iz and managed to help 14 pickups, loaded with foodstuff, to access into the city.
Food quantities were not sufficient even for the residents of one district, the sources said, adding that the delegation members met both with residents and local officials.
Once the UN delegation left the city, it was closed again by the militias, the sources asserted.
