
Minister of Social Affairs and Labor and Minister of State for Development and Planning Affairs Hind Al-Sabeeh, on Sunday, praised efforts of Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) in field of relief at the national and international levels.
Al-Sabeeh in a press statement following her visit to the KRCS headquarters expressed appreciation for the Society's humanitarian activities in countries stricken with natural disasters.
The Society has become a milestone in the arena of human giving due to its quick humanitarian initiatives, she said, noting that its efforts in this regard are part of the humanitarian imperative that expressed the official position of Kuwait's leadership, government and people.
For his part, President of KRCS' Board of Directors Dr. Hilal Al-Sayer said that the association is making every possible effort in this regard to meet the humanitarian appeals and extend a helping hand to those affected countries.
Al-Sayer boasted of the Kuwaiti aid provided to stricken people around the world, stressing that the KRCS will continue efforts to alleviate suffering of those suffering from catastrophes or crises in various parts of the world.
