
Emanating from the keenness of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to commemorate the Emirati heroes who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has ordered construction of a memorial for the martyrs in the city of Abu Dhabi as a tribute to their selfless services and to keep their memory alive in the hearts of the future generations.
Sheikh Mohamed also instructed the Martyrs Families' Affairs Office at the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court to oversee the construction of the memorial, in coordination with the relevant authorities.
