Morocco strongly condemned Thursday’s terrorist attack against a residential and commercial area in Southern Beirut, killing several people and injuring others. A release of the ministry of foreign affairs and cooperation also expresses Morocco’s solidarity with Lebanon against terrorist attacks. Thursday’s blast was the second in less than a week after a car bomb explosion killed former Finance Minister Mohammad Shatah, along with seven others in downtown Beirut. The release offered condolences to the innocent victims’ families, stressing that Morocco, which refuses and denounces all forms of terrorism, condemns this criminal act and expresses solidarity with Lebanon against all terrorist acts and threats.
