Mosul liberation operation underway

BAGHDAD - Arab Today
Iraqi Armed Forces announced today the start of a military operation to retake Mosul City, north of the country, from the terrorist organisation, Daesh.
The army said in a statement that the operation, which was launched at dawn today, resulted in the liberation of a number of villages around the city, where Iraqi flags have been raised on the buildings.
