
Security forces on Sunday foiled a Muslim Brotherhood's attempt to organize a protest in Alexandria that calls for inciting violence during the anniversary of the January 25 revolution.
A number of MB members were plotting to organize a protest in the Sidi Bishr neighborhood.
Meanwhile, bomb disposal teams defused a high-explosive bomb that was planted by unidentified men under an armored cash transport car in Wabour el Miah district.
Security forces cordoned off and combed the area in attempt to find any other expected explosives.
In the meantime, a child died after a balcony fell on him while he was playing in Wadi Al Kamar district.
Investigations were launched into the incidents.
