The world is now getting to know the truth and nature of the Israeli invasion and its barbarism and cruelty, Arab League Secretary General Nabil el-Arabi said.
Addressing an emergency meeting of Arab foreign ministers here, Arabi said the Israeli racist regime does not hesitate to commit war crimes and crimes against humanity by attacking civilians, killing hundreds of them, injuring thousands and destroying their houses.
He paid tribute to the victims of the ongoing Israeli military escalation in Gaza, which started Tuesday and left nearly 200 killed, including 35 children and 26 women, and thousands wounded.
The Arab League will continue to coordinate with Palestine to take all legal steps to bring Israeli officials to court and try them for the crimes perpetrated against the Palestinian people, he said.
The pan-Arab body will pursuit the formation of an international fact-finding commission to probe Israel's war crimes in Gaza, he added.
