Yazidi Iraqi woman Nadia Murad on Sunday urged agencies concerned to issue a fatwa criminalizing violations committed by Daesh against Yazidis in Iraq.
Murad is a 21-year-old Yazidi woman who was held in her homeland by Daesh as a sex slave for three months.
She is currently paying a visit to Egypt to expose the Daesh genocide of Yazidis.
She took part in a seminar at the Cairo University on Sunday, in the presence of the university president and Egypt's Minister of Higher Education.
She said 80 women and their mothers were killed by Daesh, in addition to 150 younger women. And when she arrived to the headquarters of Daesh, she found another 2,000 women who were raped.
For his part, President of Cairo University Gaber Nassar said that Arab and Muslim people face a fierce attack on their humanity and holy places from groups that have nothing to do with religions.
