
The comprehensive national dialogue conference in Yemen resumed its third plenary session today to review the report of the transitional justice team, set up by the conference.The conference’s general secretariat said in a statement that the report included a provision on the recovery of stolen public and private funds at home and abroad due to the misuse of power, as well as decisions requiring the state to restore all weapons and military equipment lost, looted or seized during the different periods of conflict by all parties, groups, and individuals.The statement pointed out that the report emphasized the importance of the State’s obligation to remove the injustice on a number of areas of the country, return rights to citizens and take care of the national struggle, cultural and humanitarian heritage in order to improve living conditions of citizens and to achieve their real sharing of power and wealth.
