
The National Council for Human Rights (NCHR) Head Mohamed Fayeq and the State Minister for Migration Nabila Makram Abdel Shaheed inked on Monday a cooperation protocol tackling the citizenship right for the Egyptian expatriates.
Fayeq stressed the importance of the role played by the ministry to protect the rights and freedom of the Egyptian expatriates and allow them to carry out their public duties towards the country.
He further said that the protocol underlines that citizenship is a right for all the Egyptians inside the country and abroad.
Fayeq underscored that the Egyptian expatriates should feel safety and that they can communicate with state institutions.
For her part, Abdel Shaheed said that her ministry cooperates with all the parties concerned with fulfilling the rights of expatriates.
