
The Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, in the presence of H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), today swore in a new judge, Sir Richard Alan Field, as a judge at the Court of Appeal in DIFC.
Sir Richard Alan Field took the oath, vowing to uphold justice, respect the law, perform his duties with integrity and devotion and remain committed to honest practices as a judge.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed welcomed the new judge and wished him success in promoting justice, upholding the values of impartiality and integrity, while staying away from any bias.
The Ruler of Dubai added that the DIFC has a trustworthy and respected stature in the international financial community, thanks to its commitment to provide stability, security and justice to all its customers, without exception.
The swearing-in ceremony in Zabeel was attended by Essa Kazim, DIFC Governor, Khalifa Saeed Suleiman, Director-General of the Department of Protocol and Hospitality in Dubai, and a number of judges from the DIFC.
