
An unidentified plane from Libya that entered the Tunisian national airspace on Wednesday was intercepted by the Air Force and ordered to leave the national space.
Spokesman for the Tunisian Ministry of National Defence Lieutenant Colonel Belhassen Oueslati said a plane without markings made an incursion 4 km into the Tunisian airspace. It was flying at 3000m above sea level and at a speed of 660 Km/h, according to the Tunisian news agency (TAP).
An Air Force fighter aircraft intercepted the unidentified plane and ordered it to leave the Tunisian airspace, he said, adding that the Ministry of Defence will notify the Libyan authorities of these infringements through diplomatic channels.
