Northern Municipality to mark the National and Accession Days in Bahrain

The Northern Municipality has lined up a rich programme to mark Bahrain’s National Day and the His Majesty’s Accession to the throne. A march will be held on Thursday under the slogan "Hamad Town Celebrates Hamad", in cooperation with civil society institutions and the newly-elected Municipal Council.
Mounted police horses and the Public Security band will take part in the event, along with Hamad Town schools, health centres, social society institutions, charity funds and the new municipal councilors. "Other events will be held across the Northern region to celebrate the two national occasions", Northern Municipality director-general Yusuf bin Ibrahim Al-Ghatam said, urging people to participate massively.
Gifts and prizes will be presented to children and school students taking part in the events. An eventful ceremony will also be held on Monday at Budaiya beach under the patronage of Works, Municipalities and Urban Planning Minister Essam Khalaf.
