Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC) chief Iyad Madani met on Tuesday with Iraqi President Fuad Masum and Iraqi Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari in New York on the sidelines of the 69th Session of the UN General Assembly.
The meeting took up the ongoing efforts to uproot terrorism in the region especially in Iraq, a statement by the OIC said.
They also discussed potentials of sending an OIC humanitarian mission to Baghdad.
