Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Iyad Ameen Madani will take part in the the International Syria Support Group (ISSG) meeting due to open in Munich on Thursday.
In a statement Tuesday, Madani said the OIC was looking forward that the Munich meeting would adopt practical proposals to push forward negotiations to stem bloodshed of the Syrians and settle the humanitarian situation there.
Madani called on all Syrian parties to clinch a deal that ensures Syria's security and unity in view of the Vienna and Geneva agreements as well as UNSC resolution 2254.
Madani expressed concerns over the deteriorating humanitarian situation in Syria.
He underlined the OIC's commitment to finding a solution to the Syrian conflict through a Syrian-led political process.
