OIC foreign ministers begin preparatory session

The foreign ministers of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) commenced today here their preparatory meeting for the 13th session of the Islamic Summit.
The summit will kick off in Istanbul on Thursday under the theme: "Unity and Solidarity for Justice and Peace."
At the beginning of the meeting, Egyptian Assistant Foreign Minister for Multilateral Affairs, representative of the President of the 12th session of the Islamic Summit Conference, Ambassador Hisham Badr, delivered a speech in which he hailed efforts made by the OIC during the past several months.
He noted that the Organisation is committed to strengthening the solidarity among its Member States and consolidation of relations among its peoples.
