
The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) will hold at its headquarters in Jeddah on Monday a meeting of its member states and institutions at the expert level to review the information strategy to counter Islamophobia.
The meeting will discuss the information strategy of the organization and ways to address the phenomenon of Islamophobia in light of new developments, and the spread of hate discourse in many Western countries.
The meeting aims to come up with clear and practical mechanisms in order to conduct a media campaign that will provide the correct image of Islam and contribute to stop the going deliberate campaign of distortion on different platforms in a number of countries.
