
The Organization for Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Secretary General Iyad Madani asserted on Thursday the organization's readiness to provide more aid to Iraqi Kurdistan region during the current crisis.
He made the statements during a meeting with Iraqi Kurdistan Region President Masoud Barazani in which they discussed boosting bilateral relations and the latest developments in Iraq and ways to confront terrorism.
The OIC chief also met with Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Government Prime Minister Nechirvan Barazani and tackled cooperation to alleviate the humanitarian crisis in the region due to refugees.
