The Sultanate of Oman has said it is looking forward for the success of the potential consultations among the Yemeni parties in the State of Kuwait to ensure restoring security and stability to Yemen.
"While the Sultanate affirms its continuous endeavors, it is looking forward for the success of the potential consultations among the Yemeni parties in the sisterly State of Kuwait to ensure restoring security and stability to the brotherly Yemeni Republic," a source from Omani Foreign Ministry was quoted by the official ONA news agency as saying.
The source said that the Sultanate has made endeavors to approximate viewpoints of the different Yemeni parties. It also provided all facilities to support the efforts exerted by the United Nations (UN) through Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, Special Envoy of the UN Secretary General for Yemen to end the current state of war and reach a political settlement among the Yemeni parties, the source added.
