Omani authorities arrest 94 infiltrators

The Omani police announced on Tuesday that it has detained 94 infiltrators from different nationalities who entered the country illegally. The infiltrators were captured at the Omani provinces of Muscat, Musandam, and several Omani towns, police said in a statement, adding that the infiltrators are of various Asian nationalities. Eighty-nine of them were deported after processing their documents In 2011, Omani authorities arrested more than 21,000 who entered the country illegally for the purpose of working in the Sultanate and in other Arab Gulf countries.
