
Syrian opposition fighters are making advances in western "Reef" (rural outskirts) of Hama Governorate in central Syria, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said on Tuesday.
Violent clashes have been taking place since the morning between the regime forces, supported by members from the National Defence Force, on one side and Jabhat Al-Nusra and other opposition groups in parts of Reef Hama, the Observatory, based in London, said in a press release.
Meanwhile, five children and two women were killed in an air raid by Syrian warplanes in a village in Idlib Governorate. Two similar raids hit other parts of the province where five people were reportedly injured.
In Aleppo, two loud explosions were heard, and initial reports said two tunnels below huge buildings in the old part of the city where regime forces are stationed, were hit.
In the meantime, two members from the Lebanese Hezbollah supporting the regime, were killed in clashes with oppositions fighters in Qalamoun, northeast of Damascus.
