Over SYP 1bn cost of damages to old city of Homs schools

Over 100 schools in the neighborhoods of the old city of Homs have been the target of sabotage and destruction by the armed terrorist groups causing a loss of SYP 1,140 billion, the Education Department Committee tasked with estimating damages due to terrorism.
In a statement to SANA, the committee said that 20 schools have been affected at their constructional safety and they need to be reconstructed, while more than 80 schools need maintenance.
