
A Palestinian delegation led by Azzam Al-Ahmed headed to Egypt via Jordan to hold indirect negotiations with Israel on enforcing the ceasefire and lifting the siege on Gaza Strip.
The delegation which was assigned by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, includes Intelligence Chief Majid Faraj, Mousa Abu Marzooq, Khalil Al-Hayya, Ezzet Al-Rashaq, Mohammed Nasser, Emad Al-Almi, Bassam Al-Salhi, Qais Abdulkarim, Ziad Nakhala, Khalid Al-Batch and Maher Al-Taher.
In a statement to Al-Sharq Al-Awsat, a source said that the leaders based in besieged Gaza may not head to Cairo due to the difficult security situation in the war-ravaged strip.
