Palestinian Interior Minister Dr. Said Abu Ali visited Wednesday the Diplomatic Institute at Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Palestinian Minister met with HE Director of the Diplomatic Institute Dr. Hassan Ibrahim Khamees Al-Muhanadi, who briefed Minister Abu Ali about the Institute functions and activities. Dr. Said Abu Ali praised the Foreign Ministry's initiative to establish the Diplomatic Institute, stressing the importance of training the diplomats and providing them with science and knowledge in order to perform their duties properly. He also hailed the efforts exerted by the Institute which keeps up to the big boom in the country's foreign policy. The Palestinian Minister pointed to the clarity of the future vision of the State of Qatar, under the wise leadership of HH the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, which he said represents a crucial pillar for the diplomatic job. He also highlighted the great role of the State of Qatar on the regional and international arenas, particularly in support of human rights, peace, sustainable development, and common Arab issues, noting that this role requires capable and qualified human cadres to implement the wise vision of the leadership.
