Head of the Popular Committee against the Siege Jamal al Khodary welcomed Egypt's decision to reopen Rafah border crossing in two directions for three days starting from the beginning of next week.
In press statements on Wednesday, al Khodary said that this decision gives hope for the stranded to travel via the terminal.
He also expressed his hope that Egypt would continue to open the crossing, especially with the advent of the holy month of Ramadan, adding that there are students and patients who need to travel via the crossing.
Al Khodary hailed the historic role played by Egypt in supporting the Palestinian cause in general and Gaza Strip in particular as well as the national reconciliation file, calling for continuing this role.
Meanwhile, the Egyptian authorities decided on Wednesday to reopen Rafah border crossing for three days starting from Saturday.
