Palestinian Prime Minister Ramy Al Hamdallah warned of the consequences of the Israeli occupation in occupied al Quds (East Jerusalem), holding the occupation authorities responsible for the consequences.
The Palestinian prime minister said the Palestinian Authority, under president Mahmoud Abbas, continued to contact world countries especially the Arab states to post them on the Israeli violations in East Jerusalem in general and in Al Aqsa mosque in particular.
Earlier Sunday, Israeli occupation forces stormed Al Aqsa Mosque precincts after clashes with worshipers during attempts to bring them out of the holy mosque while Israeli police were seen deployed in the surroundings of the holy complex.
Eyewitnesses said the Israeli forces clamped a siege on the old city of Al Quds, Al Aqsa Mosque complex and checked the identifies of the worshipers.
Worshipers whose ages are less than 45 years were banned from entering Al Aqsa complex under pretext of celebrations of the new Jewish year.
