Palestinian powers welcome Sisi initiative to resume reconciliation talks

Political and Islamic powers in the Gaza Strip have welcomed President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's initiative to resume reconciliation talks among Palestinian rival parties.
In a press statement on Sunday, the Gaza-based powers voiced their support for Egypt in its bids to restore its leading position and solve the Palestinian issue.
They also offered condolences to the families of the victims of the EgyptAir plane that crashed into the Mediterranean in the wee hours of Thursday.
